Lake Most – A Post-Mining Jewel

Lake Most is one of the most remarkable water bodies in the Czech Republic, created through the hydric reclamation of the former lignite mine. In 2025, preparations began for a pedestrian footbridge from Hněvín Hill, which will shorten the walking route to only 15 minutes, further enhancing the convenience and accessibility of this unique lakeside location.
